The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) had asked for the support staff including Team India head coach, whose deadline has passed. During this time, the number of applications received by the BCCI for head coach of Team India is shocking. The Indian Cricket Board has not received two or hundreds, but thousands of applications for the main coach.

According to the reports, the BCCI has received more than 2000 applications for the post of Head Coach of Virat Kohli and Company. However, in this report it has also been claimed that no more than 2000 people are seen in such a coach who can move the head coach Ravi Shastri's chair. In such a situation, the possibility of Ravi Shastri's Team India head coach become more frequent.

All these decisions have to be made by the Cricket Advisory Committee i.e. the CAC, whose leader is Kapil Dev. Apart from Kapil Dev, Anshuman Gaikwad and Shanta Rangaswamy are in this three-member committee.
